01What you are buying

A night, or several nights, in a room at an independent hotel, homestay or guest house in India. Each property sets its own tariffs, decides which rate plans to offer, and sets the cancellation terms on each one.

02The price you see is the price you pay

Room prices on this site include GST and every fee that applies to your dates. There is no booking fee, no convenience fee and no service charge added at the payment step. The total shown beside the pay button is the amount that will leave your account.

You pay us nothing for using the platform. Our fee is charged to the property, not to you.

03What moves the price

• Your dates — most properties price weekends and holidays differently.
• The rate plan — a room-only rate costs less than the same room with breakfast, and a non-refundable rate usually costs less than a flexible one.
• How many people are staying, where a property charges per person rather than per room.
• How long you stay, where a property discounts longer stays.

A price is held once your booking is confirmed. Until then it can move, which is why the figure at checkout is re-checked against the property's live rates before you pay.

04Paying a deposit instead of the full amount

Some rate plans let you pay part of the stay now and the rest at the property. Where that is offered, the amount due now and the amount due on arrival are both shown before you pay. If you later cancel, the refund is worked out against what you actually paid us — the Cancellation & Refunds page sets out how.

05What you pay at the property

Anything you buy during your stay — meals, laundry, a late check-out, an extra bed — is charged by the property directly and settled with them. It does not pass through us and does not appear on what you paid here.

06Currency and invoicing

Prices are shown in the property's own currency, which is the currency you will be charged in. The tax invoice for your stay is issued by the property, in its own name and under its own GSTIN — ask for it at check-out.
